Liveaboards combine accommodation with diving. For remote destinations — Similan, Raja Ampat, Komodo — they're the only serious option. Here are all our liveaboard routes.
Raja Ampat Safari
Liveaboard route through Raja Ampat — the only way to reach Misool and the more remote sites. 10–12 nights covering north (Dampier Strait) to south (Misool).
Komodo Dive Safari
Komodo can be dived land-based, but the best sites — Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Manta Alley in the south — require a liveaboard. Typically 7 or 10 nights from Labuan Bajo.
Sulawesi Liveaboard Safari
Liveaboard covering the Manado peninsula, the Bangka archipelago, the Lembeh Strait, and further south along Sulawesi's east coast. Less trafficked than the standard routes.
Southern Halmahera
The least visited serious dive region in Indonesia. Liveaboards from Ternate cover southern Halmahera, Bacan, and the Banda Sea. Few other boats, untouched.
Similan and Surin
The classic Thai liveaboard — 4 nights from Khao Lak covering Similan, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock. The backbone of Thai dive tourism.
Best of Thailand
7 nights covering the entire west coast — Similan, Surin, Richelieu, Koh Lipe and the route south to Hin Daeng. The only route that combines north and south.
Southern Explorer
Southern liveaboard route focused on Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Haa and the deeper sites south of Phi Phi. Less known than Similan — usually less traffic at the sites.
